Site Summary
The BCWF Political Action Alliance was incorporated in British Columbia in 1996 by individuals who had been closely affiliated with the BC Wildlife Federation but who felt that there was a need for an organization that could become active politically, when necessary, an area where the BCWF having charitable status, could not operate with incurring risks to that status.
To that end, the BCWF PAA was incorporated as an independent organization with its own board of directors.

Hi – I’m a columnist at The Province, hoping someone there could contact me about what I understand to be an attempt by the B.C. guide outfitters to get some open hunting for residents turned into limited-entry only. My direct # is 604.605.2081. Thank you,

Ever since the conception of LEH I have applied for that but have yet to be drawn. Of course I am against only LEH hunting for residents. I wold be willing to contribute a smal amount of money. But why are you not starting a online petition to send to our elected government members. It would certainly show how much support you are getting. (numbers)

you want us to back you up now with money? right after you drop the bomb on us that you have withdrawn from the advisory committee. What chance do we have ? Maybe its time to tell the general public on how much these poor guide companies charge for the bounty of an animal. Why is it that a sheep costs $65000. what a sick world this has become .These guides dont fool us hunters. Hunters on a whole are quiet simple people who dont like to cause any trouble but take our hunting away and there will be a war.I have been listening through the grapevines people are getting mad. Dont give up on the people who built this industry for these poor guides.

Chad the bcwf pulled out of the phraac commmittee for a lot of good reasons mainly because it was felt that many of the issues that should have been discussed were settled outside the committee and never discussed. the bcwf pulled out as another indication to the ministry of environment of the general dissatisfaction with their present treatment of bc resident hunters and anglers. the bcwf has not left the game and will continue to fight for the rights of resident hunters and fisherman, they are just changing game plans. stay will us as we all need to stick together like never before.
